Is it me, or is UNLV recruiting heavy in Hawaii this year. Obviously there've been players in the past that went there. But for some reason, they seem to be offering anybody from Hawaii. It's not like their program is any better than UH. I wonder whats the lure? Me personally, if I was offered a scholarship between UH and UNLV I would choose UH. I know their football program could use a lot of help, but it's after football that matters. If you're fortunate to make it to the NFL then you're fine. But the majority don't make it, then theres life after football. Like Beau Yap commercial, I think you'll have a better network in Hawaii if you go to UH. But if you're planning on living on the mainland than I guess you're better off going away for college.

Former Radford HS and UH DL Joe Seumalo.......who successfully recruited Hawaii HS Dlinemen (Ali'i Robins, Titus Failauga, Kalani Vakameilalo, etc.) as the DL coach at Oregon State under former Beaver HC Mike Riley.......is now the new DL coach at UNLV.
