Snyno Big 5 Week 3

Post by saynotomercs »

Thanks to everyone who participated in Week 2! Everyone is still welcome to make picks this week- the leaderboard will be based on total wins, and only in the case of a tie will win percentage be counted.

THE LEADERBOARD

1. gridiron22: 5-0
2t. Hawaii78: 4-1
2t. saynotomercs: 4-1
4. BDavis_808: 3-2
5. FASBOY'90: 2-3

THIS WEEK'S GAMES:

Maui vs. Baldwin
Is this finally the year for the Sabers? My pick: MAUI 28-20

Moanalua vs. McKinley
Can Ishmil Scott save the Menes? Can the Tiger offense finally save the defense? My pick: MCKINLEY 25-19

Mililani at Kapolei
It will be a defensive battle. The Trojans will ride Malepeai as far as he can take them. My pick: MILILANI 14-7

Campbell at Leilehua
Is this Campbell's year? Nolan Tokuda is still an ace. My pick: LEILEHUA 35-28

Waianae at Aiea
The Seariders leave the Leeward Coast for the first time. Aiea faces their first test. My pick: WAIANAE 30-12

Me too!!!

Baldwin; They're still a dominant team in Maui. BEARS 35-17

McKinley; Moanalua is not here this season. McKinley is mixing something out there. TIGERS 24-14

Mililani; Running game is great but their passing is not reliable. I'm pretty sure they'll find their balance. Their defense will win the game for the Trojans. It will be a low scoring game and a tight game. TROJANS 21-17.

Leilehua; Not sure if the offense is that good putting 56 on Iolani (no team, not even ILH or OIA D1 can put that much on Iolani every season). Mules d-line can stop the running game but need more work, the secondary needs to step it up. Campbell offense wasn't impressive against Kaiser. Leilehua should get this one by at least two TDs or 10 pts. MULES 31-21

Waianae; Not sure if Aiea is legit. I hope they prove me wrong. But right now Waianae has the talent, speed and size. I'm expecting Waianae to win this big if not at least convincingly. SEARIDERS 35-14
