2011 High School track and field
Re: 2011 High School track and field
Thanks SF !!!SubFore wrote:My thanks also, Kautech. I check every week. Looks like there will be some great individual and team matchups at States. The Honolulu Marathon Invitational could also be very interesting, depending upon who's going to travel in from the outer-islands.
HNL Marathon scheduled on the same weekend as Arcadia this year ... some of the Seabury Girls/Pierce Murphy confirmed for Arcadia, from what I'm hearing
Nonetheless, the HNL Marathon Meet is still "the" top Hawaii HS Track and Field Invitational these days ... a preview of the HHSAA meet in many ways!!!

Hmmmm...That will make both the boys' and girls' middle distance races less interesting. Still, there will be many intriguing matchups!kautech wrote: Thanks SF !!!

SubFore- Not sure where you got your information, but I think you might see a few of the Seabury girls at the Honolulu Marathon Invite next week.
Re: 2011 High School track and field
Only Kailea Tracy-Visintainer from Seabury and Peirce Murphy are confirmed for Arcadia. Entries can be seen at the meet website:

Some highlights of the ILH Intermediate Trials and Championships are posted here. Included is Kayson's record high jump of 5'11.5". Kayson came so close to 6'2," if it wasn't raining he would've had it. What a awesome day also for Marissa (200 and 400) and Keri (100h and 300h). Congratulations to all the Athletes! http://hi.milesplit.com/photos/albums/8179
Re: 2011 High School track and field
hzy...Not me! Kautech mentioned it and he's pretty well connected. I'm looking forward to next week's Invite to see some of these runners match up on the track, as opposed to paper. He mentioned that some Seabury runners and Kauai's Murphy are heading to the Arcadia Invite in S-Cal next week. That would take some of the fun out of some of the races, if his inside info is correct. It will still be fun to watch, and I hope that many of our State's prep runners are on Oahu next week to give us a preview of States.hzy wrote:SubFore- Not sure where you got your information, but I think you might see a few of the Seabury girls at the Honolulu Marathon Invite next week.

So, I guess the girl's 200/400 and the boy's 1500/3000 will be a little less fun!hzy wrote:Only Kailea Tracy-Visintainer from Seabury and Peirce Murphy are confirmed for Arcadia. Entries can be seen at the meet website:

Re: 2011 High School track and field
Sorry for wrongly attributing that information to you, SubFore. As for the races, it would be great to have gotten another preview of Peirce and Thibodeau in the 1500 before states(as I believe the rest of the runners will be racing for 3rd), but it just makes the state match-up that much more exciting to anticipate.
A question for Bob Martin- Can you try to repost the results from the Kamehameha Maui Relays? The meet screen opens but there is no link for the results. Thanks!
