Defiantly Walter Santiago..I went against him as a senior; he was just a sophomore and he was by far the best DB i went against...

people are over looking kawe johnson of kahuku started as a freshman. in 3 scrimmages looks bigger and faster then a season ago. should be a play maker on kahuku's D.

I echo the words of fb fan cause if you're a freshman and you start at the varsity level you are considered a great athlete, but
to also start as a freshman at Kahuku, Kawe Johnson is a unreal athlete. We will be hearing great things about him in the next 3 years.
Radford also has one of the best corners in the state, I know he wears jersey #3 but I cannot pronounce his name. I think he can cover
any wideout in the state.

Re: Football 2010, Top Players by Position: Cornerbacks
starting as a freshmen (or underclassman) doesnt carry much weight in my book.
especially at the high school level where coaches and parents have more
power to play the "favoritism" card. Some athletes deserve it, some
are given the spot at an early age to be groomed.
That being said, k johnson is one of those athletes that earned his stay
and deserved the starting spot as a freshman on a stacked kahuku team.
the kid was impressive last year and I look for great things to happen
this year. If he keeps improving each year and gets faster, by his senior
year he will be the top CBs in the country.

The Radford corner mentioned is probably Tevita Baravilala. He is a good one.
