High-school throwbacks I want

Post by HRC Paul »

A friend of mine wants the lime-green UH basketball jersey from way back. I think they've all been burned. But if one were around (even the replica), I'd want one, too. They weren't so bad.

The other throwback that gets way more info is the Obama throwback. The ones I've seen online are too generic. Anybody could make those. And they cost $40-$60. For basically a practice jersey.

I'd like to see a legit 1979 replica of Obama's jersey.

Another thing ... a lot of the great athletes of UH sports lore were women. If I were a woman, I'd want these jersey replicas:

Tita Ahuna
Nani Cockett
Lynette Liu
Judy Mosley
Deitre Collins

Maybe a few more. Ah, doesn't matter. Maybe if somebody makes those jerseys available, I'll buy them as gifts.

How about El Sid's Kalaheo and St Louis jerseys ... I think he was at St Louis his freshman year and at Kalaheo his sophmore year before tranfering to the powerhouse Kaiser team of the 80's
