Former KPT resident Ed Ripley was pretty tough too.

Levi Stanley played at Waianae.

This article on Larry Ginoza mentions Stanley as one of the Waianae greats:

The 1971 UH Media Guide list Stanley's high school as Waianae:

[quote="uhwarriors"]Levi Stanley played at Waianae.

That was over 35 years ago, I might have mixed up, still the Govs got to be on the top of the list

You must have gone to school with Tanuvasa, Bucky Mattson, Cadiente bros? BTW Back in the day I used to sit in Levi's "kanaka army" section.

Yeah , that was back in the good old days, Onosai Tanuvasa of the Govs was ILH first rusher to run for a 1,000 yards in a season, that's was in my Soph year in 1969

Which public high school produce the most excellent ALLSTARS players for UH? I say it is my Alma Mater of FARRINGTON high, here are just some of the Greatests that made it to the professional

Cliff Laboy
Levi Stanley
Niko Noga
Al Noga
Jesse Sapolu
Nuu Faaola
Vince Manuwai

Ditto that, I had to think a little but in the end it was the Gov's, just by a hair.
That would have changed if Mark Atuaia & Itula Mili were Warriors though.
