Wyoming could end up taking the top spot in the conference IF we can get Jeff Tedford but knowing our jaskassed AD I doubt it.

Maybe or maybe not. Boise has a tendency to have good coaches. Koetter, Hawkins, Peterson

Re: Peterson to UW
Hawkins' success was due to CP doing all the offensive scheming in the background. Hawkins goes off to CU and everyone wondered where his offense went. It stayed behind in Boise. Head coaches rarely stay forever at any school. There's always a bigger challenge, a bigger paycheck. I think CP realized he topped out there with Kellen Moore and even with those great years, you could only do so much as a mid-majoring BCS buster. One bad FG or XP could cost you the shot at $$$. And these last two years with mediocre QBs have not produced the quality that Boise fans and the nation have come to expect. He's getting a huge raise to jump across the border. I have hated him, them, and that blue field (which I stupidly went twice to see us get blown out) for as long as I can remember. It was nice to have someone to hate as a "rival". Our current day BYU. Hate is such a strong word. It was more like jealousy as they were always getting the lucky play for the win, the trick play to get the TD, going for 2 for no reason, etc. I wonder if those same trick plays will work in the PAC-12.
It will be nice to see them rebuild and hopefully suffer a little (like us). They were too high up on their mountain top for too long. Hopefully they come back down to ocean level like us for a while.

I doubt this'll be another Hawkins since he was the brains of BSU during Hawkins' success. But this is still surprising since I thought he was the Mark Few of college football.

That's a good analogy. Small school, loyal till the end (or so we thought).

Re: Peterson to UW
If you go to the Broncos website there is no mention of Peterson. It's like he never was there. Weird.
Not doubting, not hating, not loving, just hoping because I am a fan.

on the radio last week, a mainland sports reporter said that UDUB was trying to get out of their 2015 season opener at Boise State at the request of Chris Petersen. Something to the effect of the game being too emotional
