Some recruiting news off of the MWC message board:

http://www.mwcboard.com/www/forums/inde ... topic=6827
Cowboy Junky wrote: according to rivals. That's more than we've signed the last 7 years according to rivals. I know the whole deal is very difficult to predict, but with six scholarships left, it looks like a big year for Wyoming. We only lost 15 seniors, a few transfers, and a couple of grade casualties. Aside from that, we're losing former walk-ons and replacing them with high caliber recruits. Maybe we'll finally develop some depth and consistency.

Does anyone know when signing day is?

Here's a link to the new recruit...

my early prediction for next season

the pokes bring back a "good" team, with sween molding into a consistent QB the pokes could get somewhere, look for Moore to steal Seldon's spot at RB

The D losses Wendling but should be still strong, here's my take, in the end, the killer will be Wyoming's OC, until there is a change, expect the same every year

6-6 (3-5)

9/1 Virginia W 24-16
9/8 Utah State W 38-3
9/15 @ Boise State L 21-45
9/22 @ Ohio U. W 28-24
@ Air Force L 21-28
BYU L 21-35
@ CSU W 31-28
New Mexico W 31-23
UNLV W 52-14
@ SDSU L 21-34
TCU L 34-37 OT
@ Utah L 10-34

No Bowl game, thanks to NM again

hopefully the boot will stay in laramie though

also, the pokes should make at least one upset next year, I didn't chose one cause I don't know who

this past year was Utah, next years could be BYU or TCU, no beating Virginia is not an upset for the pokes

this past years game against them made the cavilers look like a D-II school :-? then they lost to Western michigan the next week

this game is in Laramie, expect a pokes win

I agree.

Aside from a new OC, is there anything else Wyoming needs to improve?

On another thread, I raised the theory that Vic and Von Appen could be related since both badmouthed their players to the media and both had similar 3 year records.

Well, I'm thankfull Hawaii hired June Jones to keep Hawaii from having to drop football but Joe Glenn is NO June Jones. I'm afraid we may have to let go of Glenn and his staff if we don't improve fast!

or they may give glenn the shula treatment, tell him to get rid of someone or he's gone also

positions Wyoming needs to improve at? um....here let me grade them, these is what thepokes look like for NEXT season

QB B
RB C+
WR B
OL D
DL B+
LB B+
SD B-
K and ST B
