2013 Wyoming Cowboys Schedule

Idaho
NORTHERN COLORADO
@ Air Force
@ Texas State
NEW MEXICO
COLORADO STATE
@ San Jose State
FRESNO STATE
@ Boise State
HAWAI'I
@ Utah State

Prediction: I think Nebraska is a sure loss. No getting around it. Wyoming's weaknesses are in the trenches. Nebraska's strengths are in the trenches. Enough said. I think Wyoming avoids last years Toledo/Cal Poly disaster and sweeps the early home games. Dave Christensen always loses to someone he shouldn't. Its an annual tradition. I think he drops one of the Air Force or Texas State road games. That puts Wyoming at 3-2 through September. I think one of New Mexico or Colorado St. give Wyoming a tough time, but the Pokes win both games. 5-2 at this point. Wyoming is terrible in California. Always has been. They made Fresno State look like Alabama last year. I think the Pokes hit a rough patch and lose 3 straight. San Jose State, Fresno State, Boise State. I think Wyoming will give the Bulldogs a good competitive game, but talent wins out. Boise State blows out Wyoming on the blue turf. 5-5 right now. Then the big game comes! After years of waiting, Wyoming-Hawaii happens. I do NOT think you're going to get your pipe dream of a Cowboy blowout. Hawaii will be improved this fall. With that said, betting on UH in the elevation, in November, against Brett Smith is a bad idea. Pokes win the game, but by anywhere from 1 point to 14 points. No chaotic blowout. Then Wyoming drops their final game at Utah State. I predict an entertaining game, but the Aggies prevail at home. Wyoming finishes 6-6 (4-4 or 3-5 depending on AFA game).

2013 Wyoming Cowboys Schedule

@ Nebraska - L (sadly, it's guaranteed we'll lose in Lincoln)
Idaho - Easy win
NORTHERN COLORADO - Another easy win (memories of last year's embarrassment vs. Cal Poly will make we'll beat both Idaho and No. Colo.)
@ Air Force - a complete toss-up but after Howdy-DoodyGate last year, Wyoming wins...barely.
@ Texas State - I could see a loss here but UW wins due to not wanting embarrassment of last yr's Cal Poly loss)
NEW MEXICO - W
COLORADO STATE - W (streak keeps going at 5 in a row)
@ San Jose State - W/L complete toss-up - This will be CDC'S annual brain fart type loss
FRESNO STATE - W mainly since home team always wins in this series
@ Boise State - The other guaranteed loss of 2013
HAWAI'I - THE BIG GAME - I see Wyoming winning this game in a blizzard by 14. If UH starts really screwing up, UW wins by 24.
@ Utah State - Tossup W/L but since it's on the road, UW will lose.

The Fresno prediction is quite optimistic.....but not outrageous.....Fresno was a barely above-average team on the road last fall.

As I stated....CDC usually has one or two screw-ups every year....games where he is expected to win, but doesn't.

I'd say this years candidates are.....

Idaho, Northern Colorado, Texas State, New Mexico, Colorado State, Hawaii.

Rank those 6 teams......1 being...High chance this team could surprise Wyoming.....6 being....there is very little chance this team beats Wyoming.

Of course....last year Cal Poly would have qualified as a 6.

From the way things are going Hawaii could very well end up beating Wyoming. UW never even showed today. Brett playing like a freshman QB who has no idea what he's doing. The rest of the team acts like they don't give a rat's butt about this game today!!!

CDC will, hopefully, be fired after we get destroyed by Utah State at the end of the season.
