What a crazy year! Under normal circumstances, I would say Bama doesn't belong in the NCG, but there just isn't any question that the two best teams are LSU and Alabama. The only team that even has an argument is Stanford and they will also not win their conference.

RGIII = total class act. I'm glad he won. My Heisman vote would have been

1. Griffin III
2. Richardson
3. Ball

Are you guys looking for an offensive coordinator?

Someone similar to McElwain. Way too much physicality on the line and at RB to change things up too much.

No. On another forum someone wrote that Nick was interested in Houston Nutt. I about died and sharted in my pants from laughing so hard. Hogville.net is full of those kind of posts. Bring in a newby so he can learn from Nick. Is Nick an offensive or defensive coach?

Alabama laughed, and then Auburn laughed, and then Alabama laughed again.

Don't underestimate the genius.

Congrats to Alabama. I figured they would win.

Had LSU and Alabama played other teams they would have been blowouts. However I would like to see Stanford play Alabama and Oklahoma State play LSU.

It's becoming old-school pro-style, because the myriad of new rules against defense in the NFL, QB's are throwing for over 5,000 yards without batting an eyelash. I remember the Colts of all teams beating the Ravens with 5 field goals about 3-4 years ago.

Respectfully disagree.
Still, two good teams played.

The SEC is not the best conference.
It is simply another conference.

What is Alabama Football?

It is Twelve National Championships... ** NCAA Record **

It is Twenty One SEC Championships.... ** SEC Record **

It is Fifty Three Bowl Appearances...... ** NCAA Record **

It is Twenty Eight 10-Win Seasons...... ** NCAA Record **

It is The Steal, The Kick, and The Goal Line Stand...

It is dedication and pride, and winning with class, and going home when Mama calls...

It is HONOR, It is LOYALTY, It is COMMITMENT...

THIS IS -- AND ALWAYS WILL BE ALABAMA FOOTBALL

A lot has changed since 2006. It's hard to believe that in 5 seasons since going 6-7 and losing a coach, we've won 2 national championships, one SEC championship, played in 5 bowl games, winning 4 of them. 1 Heisman trophy, the first in school history. Bama has gone 55-12 and 48-6 in the last four years. Saban has returned Alabama to the top of college football, and I feel safe saying that, having won 3 national championships in last 7 college season he's coached, paired with the parity and extreme talent level of today's game, Saban is the best coach this university has ever had and should go down as one of the best gameday coaches of all time.
