Looks like Bama will be #1 in the BCS. I'm not sure I like this completely. LOL
Re: ** This is ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE Sports **
I don't think its a big deal. We all know Bama/LSU are equals until the 5th. The real debate starts at #3 and on.NiCkOwNsRTR wrote:Looks like Bama will be #1 in the BCS. I'm not sure I like this completely. LOL
Can't remember a college football game with this much hype.
BTW, unfortunate news on Marcus Lattimore. All of a sudden, the left-for-dead Georgia Bulldogs are in the drivers seat for the SEC East.

Yep, look like UGA gets it, absent a major chokejob.
I'm staying cautiously confident about the LSU game. I think if we stay at 1 INT or less, we'll have a good shot. I'm not scared of Lee and Jefferson, even though they're playing much better than last season.

Despite the constant "We play better talent week-in and week-out" arguments from SEC fans, I think LSU hasn't seen a defense anywhere near as good as Bama's this year. Beating up on Miss State, Kentucky, Tennessee, etc. is nothing impressive. Could be a big shock for Lee and co. as to how fast the Tide are.NiCkOwNsRTR wrote:Yep, look like UGA gets it, absent a major chokejob.

SEC is way down, but we'll still get the benefit of the doubt.
LSU has gotten to play a backup QB the past two weeks.
Arkansas is not as good as people thought.
Ole Miss is horrible, Kentucky is beyond horrible
The entire East is just average.
Auburn is playing slightly better than expected.
MSU was a big dissapointment.
LSU is just loaded with talent, and the game could go either way really. Last year, LSU outcoached us which is a rare event that Les Miles outcoaches anyone!

LOL Alabama should poison the grass on LSU's sideline. He'll have to sit the game out after the 1st.NiCkOwNsRTR wrote:SEC is way down, but we'll still get the benefit of the doubt.

The SEC is surprisingly a two-team affair this year. Too bad they're both in the same division. Lots is at stake on November 5th. Winner is clearly on their way to the BCSNC, the loser gets a consolation prize in New Orleans with the Sugar Bowl. Likely against a motivated Boise State team. As Bama learned in the 2009 Sugar Bowl, that can be a crappy ordeal.

This year, unlike the previous years, all of the leagues have one or two good teams and the rest are average or mediocre.

No doubt.....odd year in college football.NiCkOwNsRTR wrote:This year, unlike the previous years, all of the leagues have one or two good teams and the rest are average or mediocre.
Lots of football left though......this is that time of year where everyone thinks the BCS is set already except for a few crucial games here and there, but we still got to play these games. I'm just bracing myself for Oklahoma State's annual face plant. You know its coming. Wisconsin losing in East Lansing would change the BCS scene. What if Stanford loses to Oregon? Or heck, Washington?????? Lots can change and will change.

Nick Saban to be the New Head Coach @ The University of Texas next season. Contract terms = 10 Million per year guaranteed for 10 years. They said that they have heard this from inside both Coaching Offices in Alabama and Austin. I have no idea if this is true, but The University of Texas has enough money to buy the whole state of Alabama.

I thought it to be B.S. until I saw the amount of money. If not Saban then who would go to Texas for that amount of money? Talk about pressure. Through the roof!
