I actually think they're ahead of schedule by about a year but in the playoff, you never know what can happen. All it takes is for them to go on a hot streak for a few weeks.Mr.EDGE808 wrote:Do you really think so? Deep down.....really deep down....their the CUBS!Irse wrote:That would be neat.

To be honest, all the injuries the Cards had to put up with helped us out a lot.Mr.EDGE808 wrote:Irse man....I didn't think you guys would get by the CARDINALs, but the CUBs did....Irse wrote:Cubs win. On their way to the NLCS.

Re: Cubs in the playoffs
Yeah, these are guys who sucked for a while and got high draft picks. Hopefully the Cubs can spend a little and pick up another top line starter. Another reliever and resign Fowler and they should be good for a few years. Their payroll will go up if they try to resign their own players.ubercow wrote:nice seeing teams not straight buying their championships this year

Crazy Back To The Future Prediction Is Now Almost A Reality
Tom Butler
October 14, 2015
Robert Zemeckis’ iconic time-travelling comedy ‘Back To The Future’ turns 30 this year and one of the funniest parts of its sequel – set in 2015 – were the film’s predictions about life in the future.
Most of them never came true – the ‘Jaws’ franchise stalled before we reached ‘Jaws 19’, hoverboards aren’t a viable form of transport (yet), and flying cars aren’t whizzing above our heads – but one of them is starting look strangely prescient.

UGGHHHHH I knew someone would post THAT!
Re: Cubs in the playoffs
Maybe they need Calvin Cambridge (from Rookie of the Year) to beat the Mets as they did in the movie. "Hey Cambridge, I'm your worst nightmare!"
