Boneheaded plays of the decade
Eli Manning telling his RB to not to score to keep the clock running thinking Dallas had less timeouts than they had. Then Eli throws the ball out of the endzone on 3rd down instead of falling down and letting the clock run. Giants lose the game.

Re: Boneheaded plays of the decade
I couldn't believe it when I read that Jennings was told not score. They would have gone 10 points up with about 1:30 left. Even if Dallas scored a touchdown or a field goal thry would have needed to recover an onside kick and then score again. In the NFL there's only a 20 percent chance of recovering an onside kick. Coughlin needed to show some confidence in his defense and hands team.

I would think the only reason I would not have someone score if one score may tie or win, not two scores. Two scores in less than two minutes is really hard to do.
