Force quarterback Bryant Moniz completed 27 of 47 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns. His top receiver was C.J. Johnson who caught 11 passes for 127 yards.

It was good to see Moniz win his first game in the AFL this past Sunday, 7-1-12. Close game.. total points over 100...56-53 but he kept his cool and with some timely defense in the last 30 seconds, the Force managed to edge out the other side.

Yep. Bryant actually earning money playing football - nice! Remember when he was the starting FBS QB delivering pizzas? ... and we had people booing him.

I am happy to see him helping to win a game at the next level. I hope he builds on it. It's just one game but it may be the beginning of a career.

The Georgia Force did a piece on Moniz.

Moniz grew up on the small island of Wahiawa, Hawaii. Being a culture of strong family values and large households, Moniz certainly brought that to California. But the large household consisted of mainly animals.

Oh and Moniz and Georgia lost last night.

In his third start for the Force, Moniz finished 13-of-31 with 184 yards, two touchdowns and two costly interceptions. C.J. Johnson was the bright spot for the force as a return man, averaging 32.4 yards per return taking one to the house late in the game.

The Force squeaked by with a do or die win tonight and go to the play offs... A little sloppy on both sides tonight but Mo settled in and moved the team down field and threw the winning TD in the last minute of play.
