Messi ended this season's Champions League trip with sitting on the bench and saw Barcelona 3-0 loss to Bayern Munich in 90 minutes. Why Messi not played in it?

According to Catalan radio station an hour before the match, Vilanova had talked with Messi on that day and Messi felt discomfortable. Vilanova,the coach of Barcelona, confirmed this news and said “ Messi has trained yesterday but he did not feel quite well. We decide to wait how he feels after today training. Today, after the discussion with our doctors, physical division and players, we think that Messi may get hurt, so we only let him play a few minutes if Barcelona has the hope to promotion.”

Since the muscle injury in the 1/4 final first leg against Paris Saint-Germain, Messi has not been 100% recovery. The newspaper pointed out that, after that match, Messi only played once in the first leg of the semi-final of the Allianz Arena, but did not change anything.
