Former UH quarterback Colt Brennan arrested for DUI

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow ) - Former University of Hawaii Warriors quarterback Colt Brennan was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, 28-year-old Colton J. Brennan was arrested on Kailua Road at about 11:50 p.m. Wednesday.
According to police, he was also arrested for promotion of a dangerous drug.

If, if, he was under the influence of alcohol/drugs while driving . . . I'll have little compassion for him. The woman in Kona was hurt badly in their crash.

The DUI is bad enough but the 'promotion of a dangerous drug' makes it so much worse. This really saddens me.

HawaiiNewsNow's Ramsey Warton said the dangerous drugs could either be Cocaine, Meth or Heroin.

the drugs might be the seal on any chance of him making it back to ANY league

wife and i were big brennan fans, even after the sugar bowl. two years later, colt didn't even bother showing up to sign auction items sponsored by murphy for a fundraiser for saint damien's cannonization. instead, he chose to party in the north shore. since then, we have become passive observers of brennan's tightening downward spiral. hope he bottoms out soon and starts contributing somehow.

promotion of a dangerous drug in the third degree is possession.

schedule I and II substances include those, but they also include marijuana, or possibly painkillers if he has enough of it.
