Big West B-Ball vs. Mountain West B-Ball
Hypothetically, how would UH fair in this year's Mountain West B-Ball? The MW is tearing it up this year... Boise, UNLV, NewMex, SDSU, Wyoming have great pre-conference records. Now that they're in conference some of their records will equalize (take turns beating each other... e.g., AF just beat Boise), but the MW could get mulitiple (3 or more?) bids to the Big Dance....

Or another example, Wyoming screws up against Fresno at home but turns around and beats #15 San Diego State at the Dome of Doom.Ulchiro5ga wrote:Hypothetically, how would UH fair in this year's Mountain West B-Ball? The MWC as of now via RPI projections is looking at 5-6 NCAA bids.Ulchiro5ga wrote:Hypothetically, how would UH fair in this year's Mountain West B-Ball? The MW is tearing it up this year... And to be honest, no doubt in my mind Hawaii would be dead last right now in the MWC.

Be sure to list the scores too. Cal Poly, Pacific, and LBSU were annihilated.Ulchiro5ga wrote:As of today (3/22/13 3:30 pm).

The MWC may be struggling to a certain extent, but it it still top to bottom better than the Big West. The Big West champion would finish close to dead last in the MWC.

If we were in the MWC, Ben Jay would be inking his short list for a new HC
