what a team. way to go, guys. anyone know anything about our remaining pitchers? We can't use our top 4 pitchers in the championship game? We have played 2 more games than Japan. These guys have had their backs to the wall before. Thanks for a great series. You are making us proud.

Keolu Ramos, Cody Maltezo and Brysen Yoshii, the coach's son are available. Ramos is the likely starter. He has pitched short relief a couple of times in the past week and was warming up today. Maltezo and Yoshii haven't pitched in Wiiliamsport yet.

I thought it was funny how the TV announcer kept saying that you have to watch out for the BIG Texas boys. They can hit and I guarantee they will score. They talked up Texas big time.

What happened to the big hitters?

Go Waipio! You are where you wanted to be. Don't slack off. Keep the eye of the tiger and fight every inning with all the energy you have left. Great pitching, hits and runs will ensure your the winner. Never give up. Never get frustrated. WIN, WIN, WIN!!!!
“Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

You make us all proud, great job Boys of Waipio.

Not a bad summer for Hawai'i base/softball. One for three on Championship wins, not a bad result for Hawai'i. How many states can say they even had multiple tries?
