LLWS 2010
why isnt anyone talking about it???? anyway GOOD luck to those kid!!!!
Re: LLWS 2010
OV #9 hit a homer. I turned off and went outside to cut some bushes.
Came back in. I think they did it, 4-1.
They got so many bad breaks. Runners on, couldn't score. Then, based loaded, kid hits a shot, but hits runner on first. Ends rally and takes runner out of game. I hope he isn't hurt too bad. Hope he gets a chance to play next game.
Anyone heard anything?

Waipio was really in a dog fight against that southern cal team......but the pitching and fielding by the Waipio kids were the difference. And that's why they're heading to Williamsport to play in the LLWS. Great job by Coach Yoshii and the parents...really nice kids to watch.

Awesome comeback win! It'll be revenge time for the boys against Georgia tomorrow!

A very lucky win to boot with only one hit. I guess it was meant to be.
I don't think Georgia is going to make the mistakes Ohio did. My gut feeling is if Waipio hits the ball and scores a lot of points they will win. Otherwise the pitcher will have to have an outstanding game for six innings. The defense will have to keep Georgia scoreless or no more than one run. I don't see Waipio's bats getting many hits tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong big time.
Who knows maybe luck will follow them all the way to the championship game. I'm rooting for them.
I enjoy them saying Waipahu instead of Waipio.
