I concur with the course length assessments, but even with the downhill, the OIA Waialua course was still a little short (although they did try to lengthen it for the JV meet by moving the start back and extending the finish).

You can use Google Earth/Satellite Aerial Image maps to get a rough estimation of distance, but it may not be accurate if there are several changes in elevation on the course, which isn't accounted for when measuring on a satellite image, depending on the method used.
