Re: Will Rolo "Clean House"???

Coach Rolovich should consult with Dick Tomey. I remember coach Tomey relating a story when he was fired as an assistant. The point being that most coaches go through the process, even great coaches. Making staff adjustments will be critical to Hawaii's success as coach Rolovich enters his third ye...

Aloha and thank you for all of the hard work that you are doing for the University. How are we doing with scheduling for independence? If we are headed that route, I would think that there must be some teams on the radar that you are ready to sign... If not, I would think that there will be a very r...

Re: Saturday's Practice Amateur's view

I don't mean to be the downer on the forum but was there any negatives? I would say I' worried about the D more than anything else? Any concerns beside what went right? Just curious I want to know the truth, GO BOWS! It's always hard to know how good an offense or defense is in fall camp when they ...

Re: Looks like Kaiwi Crabb and Taz Stevenson wants to play......

Dorris, thought he was better in his 10th grade year. To be fair, he has not had a QB to throw him the ball since the 10th grade. If he was on St. Louis or Punahou the kid would be racking up some monster number... With that said, if he does not want to play for Hawaii then he can kiss my :bootysha...

Re: Punahou's Toma still undecided

I used think Toma was all right, until I saw him during that Mainland All Star game... The kid is tough. He was getting open all night. I think he can play any where.

Re: Shutter or Nielson??

A pal of mine was one of the coaches for the Hawaii All Stars, and he said that Shutter is the real deal, from his skill level, attitude and overall makeup. It did not seem as if he thought Nielson was much more than a good "high school" QB.

Re: Possible Quality Walk Ons

If the kid seems to be big time and he's not getting any offers, you have to realize that there is something wrong scholastically.

And he's a good kid.

Re: Possible Quality Walk Ons

I really like Apelu Sooalo the RB from Farrington. That dude hits the hole fast and runs people over. UH also loses 3, possibly 4 running backs. Farmer Peoples Chopp Libre (possibly has another yr) Apelu just moved from Samoa so he's Non qualifier. I hope he goes to JC. I am hearing he might just m...

[ wait. didn't punahou beat farrington (without Roby Toma) in a scrimmage earier in the year at punahou???? do u actually think punahou got lucky this time??? Actually, I was just joking about that. The better team always wins on that night. I was referencing to the quote about "The only team that ...

Re: State Championship Game

Penalties could also play a factor in this game. Last year, penalties contributed to St. Louis missing opportunities. I agree. St. Louis should have won that game. That was a good St. Louis team that they beat. St. Louis shot itself in the foot with a poor game plan that they didn't change defensiv...
