Re: New defensive coordinator- Victor Santa Cruz
Congrats. I remember him playing but don't know much about his coaching philosophies. Just don’t look at last season’s schedule. According to some who followed that program, they got poached pretty hard for talent or had a lot of transfers going to MAC and Sun Belt schools that really affected them...

Re: Possible next head coaches for UH?
All you have to do is win. Instant connection. As for me all I want is a good football coach. Graham has shown what he can do. agreed, but there is a "fit" component that helps determine whether or not you can win here. A great coach for somewhere like Wisconsin may not be a great coach f...

Re: Possible next head coaches for UH?
I hope we don't go in that direction with Anea or Lamb. The Hawaii job isn't On-The-Job-Training. I don't want to see rookie mistakes in travel, time zone, and recruiting issues. We need a hire that already knows our players, and system, the transition needs to be seamless, otherwise it's a complet...

Re: What happened to Defend Priderock?
True but he had enough support from them to offer to raise his contract to $1.7 mil. Plus they also did end up building the new athletic facility he wanted for the longest time. Point is there was enough there for Jones to reasonably stay but left compared to Rolo. They only did those things cause ...

Re: Possible next head coaches for UH?
Let me tell you a story about Rich Miano. After the 2011 season when Mack left and Chow came in, the graduating senior players were left in the lurch. Chow said he had no plans of holding a pro day for the seniors as they were not his players and he was busy preparing for his first spring ball. Rich...

Meh...McMackin beat Washington State, performed the best Hawaii has ever performed against USC...ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED arch nemesis UTAH STATE...walloped Colorado...got edged out by Washington and a number of other successful marginal teams. He owned Service schools--something no other coach at Hawa...

Re: Post game thoughts vs Arizona!!
My top 10 thoughts: 1. The o-line was greatly improved and for the most part dominated AZ's d-line. 2. Great blitz pick-up by our running backs when AZ decided to bring pressure. 3. Byrd could go down as one of the top three receivers in UH history if he stays healthy this year. 4. Cole needs to be ...

2019 & 2020 UH FOOTBALL RECRUITING & OFFICIAL VISITS
Sure hope that Hawaii takes a serious look at this receiver from Arizona. He played on the #2 team in the state and was their leading receiver as a junior. He would be the perfect fit in the R n S offense. Colby Dickie https://thumbor.247sports.com/uxjQuBpN9hBGr--4qyFwYmHxZ2k=/150x200/top/Uploads/As...

Re: Just saw Aaron Kia on the news
Aaron has always been one of my favorite Warriors. He is a genuinely good young man. His actions do not surprise me, that is the type of man that he is. Always great to see former Warriors bringing positive energy to the program. Hope the Warrior program recognizes Aaron at an upcoming UH home footb...

Re: 6-6, 245 OT Thomas Wade Commits
Nice get by the Warriors. Looking at his HUDL tape, he looks like he moves very well and finishes his blocks. I love an O-lineman with a little mean streak and he seems to have it. A huge bonus is that up until last year the offensive line at San Clemente HS was coached by Pat Harlow who was an All ...

Re: Adrian Klemm
Being an avid & lifelong UCLA fan, I follow the Bruins pretty closely. In all honesty, I was not impressed with the performance of the UCLA offensive line during the Klemm years. No question he is a great recruiter and brought in some very good talent, but as far as seeing improvement and develo...

Re: O-Line's Performance Against San Jose
If the O-line continues to improve and keeps putting up the strong results, then I would say that Coach Estes deserves a shot at taking over the OL coaching position on a full time basis. I know he will teach solid technique and inspire them to play with an edge. During his four years as a UH starte...

Re: Adrain Klemm
I really hope that John Estes is given the opportunity to take over as the OL coach. John has always been a good and loyal Warrior who played back in the "glory days" of Warrior football. (Don't forget he holds the Warrior record for most consecutive starts & careers starts.) He also h...

Re: UH at UCLA football game on Sept 9.
Thank you Tom for all of your work in organizing the tickets. Wild Warrior and former UH offensive tackle Austin Hansen are looking forward to meeting up with the UH Ohana at the tailgate and the game. When we get up by 34 points on the Bruins, we won't give the game away

Re: ** Official UH vs UMASS Gameday Thread **
Good first win for the Warriors. Brown was solid at QB and looks to be ready for a good season. Ursua was awesome and came up with some big catches and runs after the catch. His speed after the catch reminds me of Keloha Pilares back in the day. Offensive line was solid throughout, but they go to cu...
