Re: Receivers
How do you get that Ward is a go-to guy if he had half the receptions of Sharsh and two less than Smart? I thought they spread it around to the other receivers pretty well. Smart is an upgrade over Armstrong-Brown. Once Stovall learns the offense, Cole will have four deadly threats to work with.

Hawaii 31
Arizona 38
I hope I'm wrong and the team comes out firing like they did against Colorado State last season.

Re: 2021 Schedule, No D1 OOC Home Game
Probably best to request to reschedule the UCLA game for another year and add a Week Zero home game to the schedule. Week Zero assures most teams don't already have a game scheduled and a likely national TV audience as one of a handful of games that weekend.

Re: 4/20/19 Practice Notes
Not exactly sure if Holly losing weight is a good thing. He was already going down too easily last year. Still uncertain why the coaches didn't bring in a RB, unless they are certain that Keliiliki will be contributing this year. Just please take Furuta out of the rotation. He might be stocky, but h...

Did I miss something? What happened to Mykal Tolliver? No longer on the roster and not listed on your transfer tracker.

Re: thoughts on today's loss
Maybe consider moving Tavai to DE? We're loaded at linebacker. And a backup Olineman to Dline. We need a big body to at least clog things up. Where has Faalologo been this season? He hasn't even been credited with playing in the first two games. How did walk-on Choi beat him AND Gifford out for the...

Re: Freshmen.
The true freshmen who have been credited with participating are Jeremiah Pritchard (started vs Michigan), Viane Moala, Kaimana Padello, Keala Santiago (Cal game only), Kalakaua Timoteo, Davine Tullis, and Zach Wilson. Holly should redshirt. Hawaii is deep at RB this year but loses Harris, Lakalaka, ...

This link says that he was going to walk on at Oregon. My guess is he will blueshirt and earn a scholarship when Rigo graduates next year.

Re: DT Kalepo Naotala Commits
Great article on Kalepo Naotala. He had a season ending ACL injury and will be grayshirted. http://www.recruit757.com/menchvilles-kalepo-naotala-commits-hawaii/ With Naotala greyshirting......me thinks that the UH coaches aren't quite done with DT recruiting. Hmmm...... Do greyshirts sign NLIs as w...

Re: Warrior Talk
Kids are not committing to Hawaii now because of the nickname. No one commits to a school because of a nickname, but things like nicknames, uniforms, and reputation can be reasons to not consider an offer to a school. We are already at a disadvantage because of the recent trend of losing and becaus...

Re: "Hana Pa'a! #almostpau" with recruiting for UH.....
A few other interesting tidbits about this class: - Only one JUCO. For having such a miserable past four years under Chow, Rolo and staff felt there was enough talent on the current roster to compete next season. I would tend to agree. Never bought into the idea that this team didn't have talent (lo...
