Madison’s Blog

We hope all of you had a safe and somewhat relaxing Superbowl Sunday!  I got to take a nice nap for 1/2 of the game, and when I woke up, I had a yummy surprise from Maddie and waiting for me!

She was up for a little homework and wrote a “Dear God” letter of her own:

When Trevor was supposed to be taking a nap (before halftime, of course), Mom heard him playing and decided to check in on him.  Startled, he shouted, “Wait! I have a traffic jam!” (I hope that wasn’t indicative of any traffic that you may have been stuck in today!)  Amazingly, even with the traffic jam in his bedroom, he was able to finally catch some zzzz’s… whew!

During Maddie’s bedtime prayer tonight, she thanked God for no pain today and prayed for a day without pain again tomorrow.
