Madison’s Blog

A couple of days ago we bought Maddie a do-it-yourself balloon animal kit.  It came with 20 balloons and a hand pump.  Both Maddie and Trevor were excited because they love playing with balloons.  Maddie blew up the first one and it popped and as fast as you can say, “scaredy cat” Trevor was gone.  The second balloon went well and all I did was tie the knot for Maddie. 

This was her first creation:  King Arthur’s Sword

 I then went to fold clothes in the living room and Maddie called me when her second balloon art was done:  The Green Parrot

I was thoroughly impressed because no one taught her how to do it and she was creating these animals with her imagination.  Balloon 3 looked like this:  Walk The Dog

Now she was on a roll and nothing could stop her but her own imagination.  She started twisting and bending these balloons like Harry Potter:  You Name This One!

 Finally, with no training and one morning of practice Maddie wanted to make a video so everyone can learn how to make balloon animals:
