Warrior Practice in Kauai

Thank you Nisei!

QB Taylor Graham – Looking sharp. Nice tight spirals, even on deep balls. He was picked off twice during the practice (from what I remember). One pick came off of a deflection, the other, I listed below.

QB Sean Schroeder – Did not participate in practice.

WR Trevor Davis – Quick and shifty off the line, couple good catches.

TE’s Craig Cofer, Clark Evans, and Harold Moleni – They are looking solid as pass-catchers.

#38 RB Marcus Langkilde – Got perfect blocks from the offensive line on a running play and zipped passed defenders untouched for a 40+ yard rush to the house.

K (Not sure) – Decent leg. On kickoffs, the ball reached the end zone 4/6 times.

QB Jeremy Higgins took most (if not all) of the 2nd team snaps. From what I saw, he no longer has that “long” wind up on his release.

The majority of the offensive snaps during this practice were out of the gun.

Towards the end of practice, the DLine swallowed up RB Joey Iosefa in the backfield for a ~5 yard loss, but Joey bounced back with a 10+ yard rush the very next play. I’m not sure if it’s just me, but Joey looks pretty fast.

#42 RB Jason Muraoka had a few excellent runs as a result of his speed and elusiveness. He reminds me of Chad Owens.

#25 DB Anthony Pierce jumped a receiver’s route on a Taylor Graham pass and picked it off. The entire defensive unit ran on to the field to celebrate with him.

TE Clark Evans lays out to catch an overthrown Jeremy Higgins pass for a 20+ yard gain with two defenders on him.

Practice ended with a successful PAT and the haka.
