From Saturday's 11-on-11 action, Sterling looks to be splitting time with John Lister with the 2nd team offense.....with Alex & Chizzy running with the 1st team O.

I hope Sterling gets some PT this year.
As much as a Redshirt year would preserve him for 2 additional years.
This team needs to play it's best players.

AG and Chizzy are shifty guys, but their blocking skills are nothing special .
Also not being able to convert 1st and goals or 3rd and 1 is coming back to bite Hawaii in the butt..
Sterling might be that physical back that can protect Moniz, yet able to pound out some yards when called upon.

I'm assuming he's has a redshirt year, this year. Which means he, hopefully, has 2 to play 2.

hopefully. about the same dimensions as alex green. if he runs hard and has good cutting ability, we might not lose a step in the running game next year.
When in doubt, burn it down.

Agreed..

per ST's blog today regarding the day's scrimmages... he is.
• Sterling Jackson is as good as advertised. On his touchdown run, he left three defenders on the turf.

Just looked at his highlight video in this thread. It shows him running out of the pistol, and running well. Pretty much north south and hits holes quickly, with no dancing around. Looks like a natural fit for the "run" portion of the "run and shoot".
